Welcome to kali-rocks.com This is Kali Grace McKellips.

This website is devoted to all the ongoing benefit activities for Kali and her family. Kali was born on July 11, 2006. She was about 15 weeks too early and she weighed only 1-1/2 lbs. Since birth, Kali has needed special medical attention and has called Minneapolis Children’s Hospital her home for the first 8 months. On March 12, 2007 Kali, her mom and dad, and some grandparents, brought Kali down to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Kali went down there to wait for a double lung transplant. On April 17 our prayers were answered, and Kali underwent her transplant operation! Kali has been recovering wonderfully, and was able to leave the hospital for the first time ever on May 4. Kali has been doing well, and is getting stronger every day. Kali and her parents have just returned to Minnesota on July 19th! Be sure to check out the benefits! The money we raise from our fundraising will be used to help with the medical costs not covered by insurance, and to offset the financial hardships that Kali’s parents have faced while they stayed by her side everyday.
